第七节 非谓语动词

Ⅰ.单句语法填空

1．(2019·湖北武昌调研)The Yangtze River，________(know) in China as the Chang Jiang is the longest river in Asia and the longest in the world to flow entirely within one country.

known[主语the Yangtze River和know之间是被动关系，故用过去分词作后置定语，表被动。]

2．(2019·浙江宁波联考)I like staying up late ________(watch) TV，surfing the Internet or doing something I’m fond of.

watching[逻辑主语I与watch之间为主动关系，表示伴随状态，故填现在分词watching。]

3．(2019·云南玉溪月考)You lose weight for a while，only ________(gain) back more weight when you stop your weight loss program.

to gain[“only＋不定式”表示意想不到的结果。]

4．(2019·河南重点高中质检)There is a ________(grow) tendency nowadays for some people to treat animals as living meat and walking fur.

growing[根据is可知，此处表示“正在增长的趋势”，而不是已经增长的趋势，所以用现在分词growing作定语。]

5．(2019·河南洛阳统考)The 15－year－old from Oakland has fascinated audiences in the U．S. and China with his ability ________(sing) pitch－perfect Mandarin (普通话) and perform the ancient Chinese art form.

to sing[考查非谓语动词。ability to do sth.意为“做某事的能力”，为固定词组搭配，故用不定式作后置定语。]

6．I felt like an idiot. I should not have left without charging my cell phone. The battery was dead and I was alone without any way ________(contact) my family.

to contact[考查不定式。设空句意：我手机电池没有电了，我独自一人，没有办法和家人联系。根据any way和句意可知，应用动词不定式作any way的后置定语。]

7．________(raise) in the poorest area of Glasgow，he had a long，hard road to becoming a football star.

Raised[句意：因为他是在格拉斯哥最贫穷的地区长大的，所以他成为足球明星的道路漫长而又艰辛。句中已有谓语动词had，故设空处应用非谓语动词形式；raise在此处是“养育，抚养”的意思，与主语he之间是逻辑上的动宾关系，所以用过去分词形式作原因状语。]

8．(2019·山东烟台模拟)The heart warming story began in September last year when a woman asked the primary school in her neighborhood ________(accept) her six－year－old son.

to accept[ask sb. to do sth.为固定用法，意为“要求某人做某事”。]

9．The cooling wind swept through our bedroom windows，________(make) air conditioning unnecessary.

making[句意：凉风通过我们卧室的窗户吹进来，使得空调没有必要了。根据句意可知，此处应用现在分词短语作结果状语，表示必然的结果。]

10. For 25 days，she never left her baby，not even to find something ________(eat)!

to eat[25天里，它(熊猫)从没离开过它的孩子，甚至不出去找吃的东西。分析句子结构可知，此处something是eat逻辑上的宾语，要使用不定式作定语。故此处应填to eat。]

Ⅱ.单句改错

1．(2019·天津南开中学月考)The Chinese restaurant naming New Panda Buffet provides genuine Chinese food，which many diners have given 5－star reviews.________

naming→named[restaurant与name之间为被动关系，因此应用过去分词作后置定语。故将naming改为named。]

2．(2019·湖北武汉调研)Last Sunday was my birthday，so I invited some guys go out with me for a celebration.________

go前加to[动词invite后应用不定式作其补足语，即invite sb. to do sth.。]

3．So I would like to advise you not to hurt yourself to trying to make money.________

trying→try[考查动词不定式。此处是动词不定式表目的，故to 后应用动词原形try。]

4．If there is no aim in our lives，we will get lose.________

lose→lost[get这里起一个系动词的作用，相当于become，后接过去分词，表状态，get lost意为“失踪的，迷路的”。]

5．(2019·湖南长沙一中月考)After waiting for an hour，Katia went home，felt lonely and miserable.________

felt→feeling[句子的谓语是went home，故feel的动作是伴随动作，与Katia之间是主动关系，故用现在分词作伴随状语。]

6．(2018·山西太原联考)I，together with my two friends，was eating dinner at a Chinese restaurant，locating in the center of New York.________

locating→located[句意：我和我的两个朋友一起，正在位于纽约市中心的一家中餐馆里用餐。(be)located in...为固定用法，意为“坐落于……”。故将locating改为located。]

7．(2019·湖北七校联考)Second，we should be careful when made friends，especially online.________

made→making[when引导的时间状语从句中，省略了与主句相同的主语we和be动词，make与we之间为主动关系，因此用现在分词形式。从句可还原为when we are making friends。]

8．(2018·四川绵阳模拟)For the whole afternoon they sang and danced happily without think about their schoolwork.________

think→thinking[without为介词，其后接名词、代词或动名词作宾语。故将think改为thinking。]

9．My favorite picture at the party is of my coach and me enjoy the biscuits with happy laughter！________

enjoy→enjoying[句意：我最喜欢的照片是我和我的教练在聚会上开心地享用饼干的照片。分析句子结构可知，enjoy须用非谓语动词形式说明my coach and me的情形。再根据逻辑关系可知，enjoy为my coach and me所发出的动作，用v.－ing形式。]

10．After looks at the toy for some time，he turned around and found that his parents were missing.________

looks→looking[句意：他观看了一会儿玩具之后，转身发现父母亲不见了。after是介词，后跟v.－ing形式。]

Ⅲ.语法填空(以非谓语动词为主)
