一、听句子，选出句子中所包含的信息。
　　
　　本题型主要是考查学生捕捉句子中关键信息的能力。一般所给的四个选项的读音都比较接近，若放在句子中考查，还是有一定难度的。如：时间、地点、人物名称，关键数字等。当试卷上出现含有阿拉伯数字的选项时应特别注意，由于这类题有一个阿拉伯数字转换或英文数字语音的反应过程，所以要加强对表示数量、时刻、年月日、编号、电话号码等数词的英文读法的练习。

　　2004年中考把本题型内容增大，增至三篇材料。从听力材料的内容含量来看要求明显加强。这就需要学生们加强对这种题型的练习。在听短文时，需要学生做到边听边记，不能光凭大脑记忆，一听而过，而要养成听音过程中边听边手记的习惯，这样做有助于解决每一个小题，在选择时才更有把握。一般的短文理解中，大多数问题的答案可以从听力材料中直接获取，关键是要善于辨别出提供选项的重要信息和细节，短文材料的内容要比对话材料更多、更深、更广，除了一些人名、地名、日期、数字之外，还有事件发生的地点、时间及原因，或是行为发生的方式、方法、条件和结果等。因此只有听懂并记住这些重要信息与细节，才能选出正确答案。

　　本题型不是简单地填单词了，而是考查学生对篇章的理解能力和正确获取信息的能力。这是一种综合性较强的试题，这就要求学生在听懂短文或对话的基础上，还要能把所听的此信息用文字表达出来，补全的内容是录音中的某些关键信息。学生事先阅读试卷上提供的文字材料。（这些文字材料不是录音的原文，而是以提纲的形式再现的录音主要内容。）这样在听材料时，就更有目标，更能抓住关键词。
